Description
THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF: One original vinyl 45rpm disc of Rollie Webber's "Tired of Livin'" / "If I Knew Then." This ultra-rare record was recorded in Seattle at Joe Boles' studio. Country Records was based out of Puyallup, Washington, near Tacoma and Fife where Buck Owens lived 1958-1960. Webber was a band-member with Owens' Tacoma-based band, and they are the band heard on this disc. I interviewed Owens at his Bakersfield headquarters 20 years ago and played him a cassette of a few records that were recorded here in the 1950s that suspected included him. A few notes into this one he jumped up and said: "That's me. That's my guitar! Where'd you get that?" It is true. It is also one the thee rarest collectible records from the Pacific Northwest. I've seen 3 copies in 45+ years of collecting 45s in this region. I have 2 of those. You can win this one.
CONDITION: This record is quite worn, but still plays, and still provides plenty of enjoyment. Please don't imagine that it is better than described. A-side label pretty clean, as seen, B-side label has some staining.
