Description
Here is a very RARE album from my collection offered up for auction: A vintage album "BUDDY HOLLY and The Crickets". Released by Coral Records CRL 57405 MONO. This album was issued after Buddy's tragic early death in 1959. This 1st mono pressing is from 1962 as The Beatles are about to conquer America. The original maroon Coral labels show some wear as it have no signatures, some wear. The vinyl rates respectable VG/VG+ to VG+, has light marks on both sides but nothing heavy. This record has been PLAY TESTED and plays from start to finish with very good sound quality! STILL PLAYS GREAT 50 years later! No skips or jumps. Still a great listening copy despite the visible wear. No constant hiss or loud distractions.Very minimal surface noise evident. The tunes come through with great playing sound. The cover is VG+ , is clean and bright with great color, no stains, no signatures, Top & bottom seam have been neatly repaired (very unnoticeable). Has cool Coral plastic baggie inner sleeve!
