It's in the same great condition as the 1st that i sold. There's a refection spot on the record from my crack photography. The spot is NOT on the record. The record is in great condition. Up for auction is a rare 45 on the VIV label from 1965. The label was owned by the famous Lee Hazlewood. He was a singer, songwriter, producer etc. Viv was a Phoenix, Arizona label. The record is unplayed and looks mint to me.'ll say near mint but it looks mint. The group was a garage band named, "THE DOOR NOBS". It was brothers Floyd and Jerry Westfall. They enjoyed success in Phoenix and Arizona. I read that they were ready for the Ed Sullivan show in 1967 or 68 but one of the guys was drafted. They also played under the name Floyd & Jerry and the Counterpoints. "Guitarist Floyd and bassist Jerry first surfaced as members of the garage combo the Door Nobs, which in 1965 scored a major local hit with the incendiary "Hi-Fi Baby" They were definitely influenced by the Beatles. Some say they are part Rockabilly but to me, on these songs at least, it sounds like they were influenzed by the Beatles and the British invasion like so many of us were. There's a guitar riff on Hi-Fi Baby that you'll recognize from an early Beatles cover of Little Richard's song "Long Tall Sally" from the beatles 2nd album. The songs are HI-FI BABY & I NEED YOUR LOVIN, BABE". You can hear the songs on youtube. They have an early Beatles style. Rare cool garage rock sound record. The sleeve is plain.
