PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Add to that Jack Bruce("Cream") on bass, Brian Auger ("Trinity") on organ, Christine McVie ("Chicken Shack" & "Fleetwood Mac") on keyboards, Jim Capaldi ("Traffic") and Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience) on drums, plus the rhythm section from Chicken Shack, and the great Duster Bennett on harmonica...
Combining several originals with a number of well-known tracks made this a great if unknown album. Velez's voice is similar to Janis Joplin with just a touch of Julie Driscoll. As has been mentioned previously, the sound is straight out of the late sixties-a slight blending of instruments and voice that makes for a good,naturally warm sound. As expected,the quality of the backing band is great and helps place this album above the average run of the mill release. On various tracks its easy to hear which guitarist is playing,and while there are no long solos,the arrangements are excellent throughout! Such a "constellation cast" (and playing especially well in this record), would be enough to recommend this LP . Good, raunchy blues sung with so much feeling ...Martha's undeniable great singing and Mike Vernon's production do the rest.

CONDITION: The cover: The thick gatefold cover is still very solid all over and colorful with only a little sparse wear, nothing much, so collection worthy VG++ .. no split seams, no bends, no writing. The back cover is near M- and has a half way peeled off small promo sticker
The vinyl: highly glossy over both sides; side one is all clean and clear M- plays smooth...side two is the same, clear and shiny with a couple hairlines; plays excellent but heard some light ticks about under or even with the music in a coulple places, side two graded VG+ and mostly better. The Sire labels are clean.
