Description

This is the real thing: first edition of this sought after album. Aretha Franklin's first recording. First press on JVB-100. Cover Has some small issues but is still very nice. Has an approximate 2" seam split in middle of top edge and same place on bottom edge. Has 2 staple holes at upper left corner (see photos). Some bug damage to paper on back side. Vinyl looks VG+ with Aretha side (1) very clean with no serious issues. Side 2 has a small scratch mostly on track 2 that plays fine with no skip. Track 3 has a short stressed groove that plays thru unnoticed. Overall very clean and shiny with just a few light marks from having no inner sleeve. Plays very well with some minor static crackle - a proper cleaning should cure it. This is probably the nicest copy of this you will find anytime soon. Recent estate find. I am providing a new inner sleeve, although it really doesn't fit inside the cover. Will ship this outside the cover to protect the cardboard cover. Also have some albums from her daddy C.L.
