Description
An extremely rare disc, released in June 1968 by the BBC, and sent to radio stations across the world for broadcast. These were supposed to be destroyed, and most were, which makes the surviving discs all the more desirable. The tracks were all recorded specially for the BBC, and are unique performances from some of the top names working in British rock and pop at the time. The tracks are: Brian Auger Trinity with Julie Driscoll: Shadows of You/This Wheel's On fire/Why Am I Treated So Bad. Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch: Mama Mama/If I Were A Carpenter/Paint it Black. Don Partridge: Blue Eyes/Rosie/Old Joe Clark. John Rowles: Hush Not a Word to Mary/Son Of Hickory Hollers Tramp. Donovan: The Entertaining of a Shy Little Girl/Hurdy Gurdy Man (A live concert recording)/ Mad John's Escape. . There are also interviews with Dave Dee, John Rowles and Donovan. The Disc is excellent condition, and plays perfectly - there are surface marks, but they don't dig into the grooves, and don't interfere with the actual recording. This disc comes with full paperwork - Continuity and music copyright sheets. Postage rates (Please ignore the maximum I'm allowed to put on by ebay, and I will send overseas).
