Description
Obscure custom pressed Bay Area soul and gospel album by Ruby and the Dreamers. Band was lead by Ruby Shields, who arranged and composed all tracks. Sounds like early 70s to me but there is no date on the album. Tracks move between gospel and soul, with both ballads and uptempo tracks and gets funky at times with horns, organ and even some wah-wah guitar. Shields' voice is fantastic. Great leads by some of the other "Dreamers" on other tracks. On Pavilion, distributed by Century Custom. A very cool record.

GRADE: LP: VG, Glossy with a few light sleeve scuffs and hairlines. Some of these are audible but don't overwhelm the music.
Jacket: VG+, in shrink, some edge creases, light corner and edge shelf wear. "CS" written on both sides.
