Description

This MONO copy of the six-eye original Columbia label CL 1779 of Bob Dylan's self-titled LP is a great piece to add to your collection or an amazing Christmas gift for any Dylan fan!
RARE IN ANY CONDITION!
Hammond used just two microphones: one on Dylan’s voice and one on his guitar. Because of this, “[m]any hardcore fans will only listen to the record in mono,” writes Brian Hinton in Bob Dylan Complete Discography. “[T]he stereo separation of this album is brutal, with vocal and guitar each occupying a virtual exclusive zone.” The mono is the one to have, and the six-eye is the one to collect.

Sleeve: VG with some light rubbing as seen on the front cover photo. There is also a short 1/2 inch seam split at the top right corner that has been repaired from inside the cover and is tight and strong. Other corners are pretty sharp and nice considering it is 58 years old! Spine is completely intact and completely readable!
Vinyl: VG obviously seen playing time with marks and scuffs on both sides from handling and play, but plays very well with limited distractions. Most of the marks are non-feelable and do not show up under bright light as seen in the photos. Stamper is 1-E

 This is overall a nice piece of Bob Dylan history!!
