Here is a very nice copy of the Beatles Rare Butcher Cover pasteover Yesterday and Today album. This was released in June 1966 on Capitol Records & is the harder to find Stereo copy - of which there was a ratio of 1 stereo copy produced for every 4 mono copies. The great thing about this one is the trunk cover was pasted on slightly askew at top, clearly revealing the butcher slick beneath! We feel this is more desirable due to the fact that there is no question about it being a second state or ‘paste-over’. No need to search for ‘Ringo’s turtleneck sweater’ because it’s that obvious. Jacket is nice with all seams intact and only some minor discoloration - common to a 50 year old white jacket. #5 by RIAA?symbol on back. Vinyl is shiny &?clean, VG+?or better. Comes with original orange Capitol inner sleeve and a copy of the ‘letter of recall’ from Capitol Records. Great investment piece / collectible to hold onto.
