Description
Rare collectible recording by Burt Reynolds, one of the biggest movie and TV stars ever. This recording was made in 1973 after his Cosmopolitan centerfold appeared in April 1972, but before his movie popularity peak in the late 70s and early 80s.
Recorded on the Mercury record label, manufactured and distributed by Phonogram, Inc. out of Chicago, IL.
The album cover art includes a 2-sided poster, perforated to be torn off, but this one is still intact. One side is a color photo of Burt in tight light blue pants and shirt, white shoes, and holding a cowboy hat; the other side is a shadowy, black and white head/shoulders shot of him. One small 3/8" scratch on the top half of the blue pants photo (visible in photos 2 and 3). Other than that, there are no other markings or damage anywhere, except for the small (3/16") hole drilled through the album cover and dust jacket, which indicates that this was a "cut-out" or promotional copy.
The vinyl record itself was not drilled and appears flawless on both sides, like it was never played. Inner dust jacket also appears as new (except for the hole) with no bent corners or any other damage.
Also included is the rare original business reply mail card for the buyer to send in requesting any of three music catalogs from the Mercury record label.
