This is the much rarer and more valuable Stereo apple green label, early deep-groove original Atlantic release from 1959. The matrix numbers confirm first pressing. The cover is glossy, with gold stereo stamp crisp and mint. Slight surface wear on the back. The vinyl has been played and does show signs of surface wear.

PERSONNEL: Champion Jack DuPree, piano & vocals; Pete Brown, alto sax; Ennis Lowery, guitar; Wendell Marshall, bass; Willie Jones, drums.

This album is a real gem and the material Champion Jack covers on the LP was to have a profound formative influence on the emerging British and American blues rock scene in the 60s.
