Description

This auction is for RCA Promotion Disc PRO 12. The EP features the track "Old Shep" by Elvis, and one song each by Hank Snow, Jim Reeves, and Eddie Arnold. The disc DOES NOT have the promotional sleeve sometimes seen with this record. Condition is VG++. NO RESERVE, BID CONFIDENTLY!!

Thanks to those of you who inquired about specific information pertaining to this disc!!! The disc is NOT A BOOTLEG. The stamper number in the dead wax is "J7 OH2287-1", there is a small triangle and the numeral 1. On the opposite side of the dead wax is a small capital "R". This confirms that it was pressed at RCAs' Rockaway, NJ plant. The vinyl is flexible, but, not as light-weight as bootleg copies. The label is printed on flat, white paper. The bootleg copies had a semi-gloss appearance. The printing is all clean and sharp, unlike the edge-blurred type seen on the bootleg labels. The type is crisp and clean, even when viewed at high magnification.

The reason I am posting this without a reserve, is that I feel that collectibles of this caliber, are generally of interest only to advanced collectors, who can appreciate the investment quality of such a piece.
