Description
Kapelle Herbert Glad plays a spirited version of "Hot Notes" (a Gene Rodemich/Tom Satterfield composition) and "Li-Lo" on Tri-Ergon TE5007. The first title has a trumpet solo and a jazzy sax soli. No solos on the second title. Recorded in Berlin in June 1927.
This record is in V+ condition generally, but plays V for about the first ten seconds only. On the "Hot" side, a 1-inch moon crack -- which has been repaired and is stable -- touches the first groove or two and ticks lightly, but not does not reach the music. (See the last picture.) Cueing up the record is no problem. The moon crack appears as a shadow on the other side and does not affect play.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing. I know how to pack records.
