Not for UK release!

 

This pressing is identifiable by:

 

·      Catalogue number CPCS106

·      Matrix numbers: Side one: YEEX 150-1

·      Side two: YEEX 151-1

·      Standard apple logo on disk with (P) and copyright years on right hand side

 

The Hey Jude! album was prepared by Apple for release in USA on 26th February 1970, under the instruction of Allen Klein, containing songs not previously available on Capitol albums.

Issued as an export only LP, it was assignined the catalogue number CPCS 106. The fully laminated covers were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, and the records were housed in standard white paper EMI inner sleeve.

 

Note: This is not the more common Hey Jude! album released in the UK as Parlophone PCS 7184 in May 1979.  THIS ITEM IS AN EARLY EXPORT PRESSING!!!

 

Condition (in line with Goldmine Magazine guidelines)

Vinyl- VERY GOOD PLUS. Record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. It has almost no visible marks from being removed from the sleeve. (It actually plays NEAR MINT on my deck)

 

Label-  NEAR MINT-. Shows little to no wear ring wear or discoloration with no real spindle marks to speak of. No writing!

 

Sleeve-  NEAR MINT. The corners are in great condition and the spine is intact with all writing clearly visible. Original inner is NEAR MINT. No names written on the cover!!
