Very nice original copy (NOT a bootleg) of "Storm Warning, Pt. 1" backed with "Storm Warning, Pt. 2" on Cincinnati, Ohio's own short-lived but legendary Split Records. Split #1027, released in 1971.
VERY GOOD ++ CONDITION RECORD in somewhat yellowed original plain white paper sleeve. No surface scratches at all, very glossy, possibly unplayed. Bright green label looks brand new.
This 45 funk classic is truly scarce and probably spent the past 36 years or so in a Cincinnati cellar or warehouse. Sought after by fans and collectors of Northern Sould and urban funk, this single by Double O (aka James Bowens) is considered "undoubtedly his finest funk moment" by some experts, surpassed perhaps only by "The Crawl" (my copy of which which I sold here last year).
