Description
Up for auction is this rare 16" 33-1/3 rpm transcription disc. This is The Gloria Swanson Show. The disc contains part one of 2 different broadcasts (#49 and #50) and is in excellent condition. Hosted by famous Hollywood film star legend Gloria Swanson who interviews other stars of the era. In #49 she interviews famous female impersonator Arthur Blake and in #50 she speaks with another silent film star Leatrice Joy. Audio from this program is not known to exist except maybe in private collections or the Library of Congress. This is a rare disc and a rare opportunity to own it.
This disc will not play on a standard record player. Special equipment is required.
