Description
Rare mispress between Pink Floyd's "A Saucerful of Secrets" (Tower ST-5131) and Davie Allan and the Arrows "Wild in the Streets" (Tower ST-5139). While the cover and labels of the LP are for the Pink Floyd record, the vinyl on each side corresponds to the tracklist of "Wild in the Streets". You can see that the record is marked "ST 5131" on the label, and "ST-5139" in the matrix / runout wax.

The brown labels indicate that this is the original 1968 press of this album, rather than the later repress with striped labels. Since both of these LPs came out in 1968 on the same record label, there was evidently some mix-up at the pressing plant in the case of this particular album. I'm not sure how many LPs came out this way.
As seen on this site (http://digilander.libero.it/mrpinky/a_saucerful_of_secrets.htm) other copies of this record have surfaced that mix-up one side of the "Wild in the Streets" LP with "Saucerful," but I haven't found any other evidence showing of a copy with the mix-up both sides.
Vinyl is graded conservatively at VG+, showing few signs of wear. Sleeve is graded at VG, with the only damage to it being the seam split on the top edge. The split measures 5 inches long. Since obtaining the record, I have stored the disk outside the sleeve so as to prevent this seam split from spreading any further.
