Description

This is the self-titled Acetate 2 LP record of Montrose recorded in 1973 by Warner Bros. The records are in MINT condition and have been cleaned and tested for optimum performance. The 2 LPs are recorded on one side only with a blank on the B side. Each LP has one side of the album. It is made of Lacquer and is very delicate. The records have been tested and sound great. This is a GREAT record featuring Sammy Hagar and Ronnie Montrose in their original form. The records do not come with a cover and were intended to be test pressings for the finished product. I used to work at a record store in the Bay Area and came upon it there. This is a one-of-a-kind record. This version in not on Discogs, eBay, or anywhere I searched.

A little info on Audiodisc... Audiodisc is one of many brands of blank recordable discs that the public bought in order to cut "instant disc" recordings on cutting machine/playback turntables, so they could quickly listen to what they'd just recorded. Although mostly used by amateur enthusiasts in well-equipped home studios -- some commercial audio studios also used them to cut one-off reference discs for immediate playback, prior to a recording being pressed in more permanent format at a pressing plant -- and/or so that a client could go home and review what they'd recorded.
