Description



Rare 1960's 8" 45rpm demo acetate from the Novells (spelled Novelles on the label). "Jeannie" b/w "Pink Lady" - Valentine Recording Studios, North Hollywood. This is the second copy of this acetate that I have. I auctioned the first one recently. Listen to sample of Jeannie. Different spelling than the Novells of the "That Did It - A Happening" 1969 Mothers LP but it is the same band with Chip Moore, Ed Vinson and Rob Archer. Neither of these songs on the demo appear on that LP. Acetate is comparable to about a VG- on the Jeannie side, and VG on the Pink Lady side. Could use some further cleaning and restoration. A few tiny edge chips showing the metal disc base but no flaking and nothing that goes anywhere near the groove area. Buyer pays first class shipping in U.S. at $4.00. Canada shipping at $4.00.
