Here is a MEGA RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: This is an ORIGINAL 1961 pressing of Roy Orbison's debut album "Rock House",Released 1961 on SUN records LP 1260 MONO, Straight from Memphis Tennessee, the record company that gave the world Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters and many great R&B artists. This first ever album from the outstanding Roy Orbison features "Ooby Dooby", "Devil doll", It's too late"(this track was also featured on Buddy Holly's first album),"Trying to get to you" (Elvis covered this tune too!) "Problem child", Mean little mama" and more. Up to $600 Goldmine book value!! A HARD TO FIND record and a nice one to put in your collection!
The vinyl rates respectable VG, clean and glossy surface, some light marks, a few heavier feel-able ones too. Play tested and plays very well from start to finish! Still great sound after 60 years!! NO skips or jumps! Some light pops but not overwhelming the music. The Sun labels are in excellent condition!!
The cover rates VG+, close to EX, is clean and bright with nice gloss, no ring wear, seams excellent, no splits, no tape, only flaw is it has a tiny discoloration at bottom and opening edge of front cover. , NO corner bumps/bends, no signatures or writing. ( see all photos)
Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
