Description
Here is a vintage Beatles album from my collection offered up for sale: "THE BEATLES Magical Mystery Tour", this is a RARE original first MONO pressing on heavy vinyl with black colorband labels, released in 1967 by Capitol records, MAL 2835. This one is priced much lower than the $300 book value because of CONDITION issues. The disc has a brief jump and cover has booklet with missing pages. This pressing is still collectable as features the unique mono sound mix, different from the Stereo version. So many cool songs, "All You Need Is Love", "Strawberry Fields", "Blue Jay Way", "I Am The Walrus", "Hello Goodbye", "Penny Lane" and more.
The vinyl rates Good, shows a LOT of light marks and several heavier marks on both sides, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays with a quick jump at the intro (in first few seconds) of side one (no repeating), then plays from start to finish with bright deep sound with light background pops, a few more moderate pops, overall still an enjoyable listen!
The cover rates G+, is fairly clean and bright with almost no ring wear, does have edge and corner wear and splits neatly taped, binder edge has center wear but is still readable, has some light spot stains, booklet is clean with wrinkles and a couple small tear spots - has only front and back pages - pages still attached to cover. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits. Check my seller's list eBay store "Groove Vibrations" for more Beatles records and other vintage record gems! Media rate shipping may take up to nine business days but is often faster.
