PRINCE LP RAINBOW CHILDREN (NPG Records 70004) Released 2001.
Two-record set. Original pressing. The vinyl is in pristine condition & looks unplayed. Amazing full-color booklet with lyrics & credits. Saxophone by Najee. Very nice custom-illustrated labels: four different designs! These 14 songs include samples of a speech by Martin Luther King. Recorded by Prince & Femi Jiya. Deep, rich unfaded colors. The painted figures are in the style of a painter named Thomas Hart Benton. Good sturdy cardboard cover. (Matrix number: 0110X29A/B A+R526II").
COVER & BOOKLET - NEAR MINT
Cover has no seam splits, stains, tape, ink spills, smudges, water damage, cut-out marks, puncture holes, writing, or stickers. No ring wear. Nice rich colors free of sun washout or fading. Moderate corner banging. Nice flat cover with no bends, waves, or ripples. Cover is free of stains, marks, creases & writing. All in all, very nice to look at. Label looks very good with no stains, marks, scuffs, cuts or writing.
DISCS - NEAR MINT
The discs look quite nice with no scratches, scuffs, skips, streaking or residue on the disc or dead wax. Platter surface still exudes an impressive surface sheen. Free of chips, cracks & warping. This is a well-pressed platter. Safely stored upright in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
