Description
This is a never played 7" record from 1959 that was produced by RD Globe Records, Logan, Ohio by owner DeweyRinghiser. Jimmy was 16 at the time of the writing, copywriting, and recordingof Two Timer. Record had one and onlypressing at RCA in Indianapolis, and had very limited distribution in centralOhio. Two Timer has become quite acollector's item since its post on YouTube in 2009 by a California collector,and has been included on several CD albums of “rockabilly best hits” and hasbecome popular in European Rockabilly circles, particularly in UK and Germany, also Sweden, Spain, and France.Jim has been inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame as a"Legend" songwriter and performer. The flip side, My Wish, is a slow dance ballad (also written by Jim) andwas originally considered the lead side with a lovely guitar ride, and is alsoon YouTube. Record sale comes withcertificate of authenticity signed by Jim, a copy of Jim's Hall of Famecertificate, and a signed high school graduation photo from Scioto Valley Highof Ostrander Ohio.
