I have played this through on a quality Michell Synchro after cleaning using a Moth RCM machine.  There are a few wispy light marks on the vinyl only.  Side 1 plays beautifully very quiet between tracks just a little barely audible background noise on 1 or 2 tracks.  Side 2 also plays very well just a few more very light noises but still grades excellent -.

The labels are very clean, no spindle wear and just the very faintest mottling barely detectable, have a look at the pictures, no unwanted pen marks, looks like it has had very few plays. The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse front sleeve retains its original shine and lustre with very light wear, the rear is clean and white just some slight darkening on the edge of the flip backs, no unwanted writing or marks. The spine of the sleeve is also clean. The original  white inner is very good.

Overall an excellent example of this hard to find classic. 

All my records are sent out in high quality thick card mailers just 1-2days after I receive payment.  I grade records as carefully as I can using the Record Collector UK Grading System.

I use the UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' gradings which are as follows:

• MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as SEALED or UNPLAYED should be MINT.

• EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

• VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without major defects is acceptable.

• GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
