Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one by various artists on the Top Thirty The Radio Show program from 1981.  I cleaned the first record and tested it, briefly, at the beginning.  Some of the guests for this 3LP show were Pete Townshend and Gerry Wright.  It mentioned a dedication to Elvis Presley as well.  So, get ready to take a time trip back to 1981 and enjoy some music of that era!  It appears there are parts of two different shows.  One from Aug. 15, 1981, and the other two records from Sept. 5th, 1981.

  Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, these discs retain the original shine with some very light to  light marks  grading by sight in normal room light.  I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect these records to play around VG+(excellent) with some scattered very light surface noise and some scattered pops.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.     

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment. 

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no recent past/present sales on e-bay!  NO COPIES FOUND FOR SALE OUT ON THE INTERNET!

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s). 

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer.  Weight with box is 2 pound 1 ounces. Shipping is $3.12 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $4.32.
Alternatively, I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 8 oz. Shipping is $3.12 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $4.82.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
