Description

RARE Thelonius Monk PRESTIGE 12” LP 7053 Original Pressing + First Cover. With Frank Foster, Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey, Julius Watkins. This is the first and rarer cover. And also the first pressing which lists the W. 50th Street address. Thick cover has some edge wear but no split seams, and has overall wear and smudging from age. Record is in very nice condition with only a couple small marks but still retains some original gloss. Possibly a dj copy as it is stamped on the back with “Not For Sale”.
