Description
Up for sale is one of the most rare and sought after DECCA Record Sets - the original DECCA Set Number 558 "The Wizard of Oz".
This is a very rare DECCA Record Album - This set contains four ten inch records. The sleeves for the records are clean, tight and secure to the inside binding. The top of the front cover reads "LYRICS by E.Y. Harburg, MUSIC by Harold Arlen." The covers have a little bit of wear with small nicks, scratches and edge wear that you would expect a 78 year-old record set would have. It has a slight musty smell.
On the spine it reads "THE WIZARD OF OZ, DECCA ALBUM 558" in gold lettering. Front cover: The Muscal Score of the Wizard of Oz. Judy Garland and Victor Young and his orchestra with the Ken Darby Singers.
Four 10-inch DECCA records. I am not an expert but these records appear to be in very nice condition for their age. They are clean with minimal scratching and no chips. Since I am not an expert please allow the many pictures to determine their condition.
