Rare Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The SEX PISTOLS 1977 pre-sticker US LP
Although many Radio Stations and music journalists were sent White-Label promotional LPs of this historic title, most music stores or retail contacts that were sent the record got a normal-label copy (although these were also white in color, they do not say on them that the LP is a "promo" and are the same as ones purchased), but with a small cut made in the cover to denote the LP as promotional, so it could not be returned for credit. Which is what you see here. Sent out prior to the addition of the "Submission" sticker, this one just has no mention of "Submission" on the cover at all. This 1977 issue U.S. LP originally was given to a Music Distributor Representative, who had many, many LPs, and was not Punk-inclined. When he and his wife got divorced (who was also a music industry person) instead of splitting their records up, and fighting over which ones would belong to whom, they sold them all to a music store and split the cash. So this record has had likely less than 5 spins total...probably about three. The cover does have the small cut, but is in excellent condition outside of that. The inner sleeve has creasing (likely mostly from imperfect installation at the factory) and some age-discoloration on the very top edge, and a small split on the bottom edge
