Description
RARE-THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE 1971 3RD PRESSING LP EX/EX+ YEX 751-3 / 756-1, 1971
PURCHASED IN WOOLWORTHS IN THE UK IN 1973. HOWEVER IS A 1971/73 PRESSING THE FACT THAT THE DATE IS STAMPED ON IT AND THE SHOP STAMP MAKES IT QUITE UNIQUE IN ITS OWN LITTLE WAY. PURCHASED FROM A SHOP THAT SADLY IS NO LONGER WITH US.
ANYWAY THE RECORD IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND PLAYS ALL THE WAY THROUGH WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL I LISTENED TO THE WHOLE LP AND WOW!! WHAT A SOUND VERY CLEAR AND LOUD!
LOOKS GREAT AS WELL, ALL RECORDS THIS AGE USUALLY HAVE THE ODD HAIRLINE MARK EVEN NEW ONES CAME WITH THEM AND STILL DO IF IN CARD BOARD SLEEVE, PLUS GENERAL HANDLING OF IT BUT DOES NOT AFFECT THE PLAY QUALITY. HOWEVER THERE WON'T BE MANY HAIRLINES ON THIS ONE HERE, AS SOUNDS ACE.
COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND SPINE IS FANTASTIC AS WELL
INNER A BIT FADED DOWN TO AGE AS TO BE EXPECTED, BUT STILL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.
ALL IN ALL YOU HAVE AN EARLY RARE PRESSING OF THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE WITH BLACK LINE INSTEAD OF THE RED 1971-1973
YOU DO NOT SEE MANY OF THESE COPYS AROUND AT ALL HARDLY THESE DAYS, WELL THIS VERSION ANYWAY, THEY ARE QUITE RARE, AND IN THIS CONDITION IS A BONUS.
VARIATION 3
3. Third pressing,1971-1973 (possible until 1976). Light green label with “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines. Publishing year printed with big copyright symbol (P). Front laminated sleeve do not have flipbacks and do not have red lines above and below rear sleevenote. Covers were manufactured by Garrod and Lofthouse. The records were housed in standard white paper inner sleeves. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 715 -3, Side 2: YEX 716-
INFO ABOVE SAYS DOESN'T HAVE FLIPBACKS. HOWEVER THIS ONE HAS ONE FLIPBACK AT THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. ALSO HAS BLACK LINES INSTEAD OF READ ONES. I HAVE SEEN SOME 1973 PRESSINGS WITH NO LINES AMD NO FLIPBACK, SO I AM ASSUMING THIS IS A 1971 PRESSING. WHATEVER, IT IS A NICE LP TO OWN IN THIS CONDITION.
GRAB A RARITY BEFORE THEY DISAPEAR AGAIN.
ALL THE BEST

VINYL - EXCELLENT
COVER - VERY GOOD
MINT- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT- The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD- The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR-The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR- The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD--The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
