After being an avid music collector for over thirty years, I've decided to downscale somewhat. So in the coming months I'll be listing an abundance of records, cd's, tour programmes, genuine autographed items, tour t-shirts, magazines and other memorabilia from my own personal collection.

RATT - DANCING UNDERCOVER - Vinyl LP

Third full album from Ratt, released in August '86 - this is a really nice original US pressing on Atlantic & is long since out of print. This copy has been fully autographed by all 5 original members of the band (Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini, Juan Croucier, Bobby Blotzer & the late, great Robbin Crosby). On the afternoon of their show at the International II in Manchester on the 29 October 1990, they did a record-signing at HMV in Manchester city centre - I myself got this personally signed by them at this meet & greet.

It has been signed on the front cover in silver pen by Juan Croucier & by the other 4 in black marker. Really RARE LP with all 5 original members signatures.

Condition

*Another record from my own personal collection which has only been played once. I would always record my new vinyl purchases directly to cassette to preserve their condition. Therefore, the grading of these vinyls has been done visually, to keep them in as-new condition as possible.

Vinyl : NM   As stated, it's only been played once and still looks in fantastic, as-new condition. The labels are excellent also with no marks or spindle wear whatsoever.

Sleeve : VG++   The autographed sleeve is generally in excellent condition although it does have a small cut-out in the bottom left corner & also a crease in that corner too (see photo 5 below) VG++. The inner sleeve in excellent condition overall but does have that small cut-out too & one edge has a small seam-split VG++.

Record Collector Grading System

Mint (M):  Record shows no evidence of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve in perfect, brand new condition. No secondhand records can make this grade.

Near Mint (NM):  Record shows little sign of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve is in superb condition.  My highest grade for secondhand vinyl.

Excellent (EX):  Record has been played a few times but has been well looked after. Vinyl has the odd light surface mark but there is no significant lessening of sound quality. Sleeve may have some slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG):  Record has been played a number of times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite some visible marks / mild scratches. Any surface noise is occasional, light and unobtrusive. Sleeve will have some normal wear and tear without any major defects.

Good (G):  While the record still plays OK, the vinyl will have a lot of surface marks/ light scratches and there is regular and noticeable surface noise. Sleeve and contents will suffer from folding, scuffing and/ or edge splits, discoloration etc.

Fair (F):  Vinyl will have scratches and jump etc. Records in this condition will be collection-fillers only. The sleeve has major tears, staining etc.

*All records are packed in professional mailers with stiffeners & will be removed from their sleeves to prevent seam-splits in transit.
