Description
RAVEL : Piano Concerto in G major / Piano Concerto in D major for the Left Hand . Performed by SAMSON FRANCOIS with The Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Andre Cluytens . Very Rare 1961 Stereo first pressing on Columbia SAX 2394 Turquoise / Silver label . The Sleeve is in Excellent Condition . The Record has a fairly light looking mark on side 2 which somehow manages to produce a click for the first 25 revolutions . Apart from this , the record plays beautifully, with no surface noise and no distortion . It appears to have been played very little with no spindle marks on the label . I know the click at the start of side 2 is disappointing , but this is an extremely scarce record - another copy could be extremely hard to come by . I have cleaned this record once with isopropyl alcohol on my Moth record cleaner . This is a genuinely RARE record with a high book price so I have set a fair starting price with no reserve . All LPs are cleaned on a Moth mk. 2 record cleaner, are visually inspected and any marks are tested for noise on a high quality system . Records are removed from sleeves for dispatch and are sent in new mailers. I am happy to combine purchases to save on postage costs .
