This STEREO LP is the Victrola issue of the super rare and highly sought after RCA Living Stereo title, LSC 2449. It features the Carmen Suite by Bizet and Faust Ballet Music by Gounod. Performed by Alexander Gibson, conducting The Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden. This superb performance needs little introduction to any classical music collector! The LP is the earliest Victrola vintage and was made in CANADA, issued in the early 1960s. The vinyl is in excellent shape (see below for details).-

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in near mint minus condition. The jacket is tight and clean, with NO seam splits. Most of the original shrink wrap is still on the jacket! The writing you see in the picture of the front of the jacket is only on the outer plastic, not on the jacket itself. The corners and seams are solid, with little or no wear. The colors on the jacket are sharp - top notch (see pictures with this listing as they are of the actual item).
The LP is in excellent plus condition! We found that the vinyl looked superb on this stereo LP. There are no significant marks and the LP retains much of the original gloss and sheen! The record may have some light marks, nothing serious. It was obviously well taken care of! There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels either. Just beautiful CANADIAN made vinyl! That said, acquiring a vintage stereo LP like this is for the performance and rarity of the LP, not necessarily for the sound quality.A Short Note About LP GRADING -
- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.

For best results, always thoroughly clean your LPs before playing them.
LPs can be audiophile quality pressings (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
