Classic Record's reissue of the nearly impossible to find RCA Living Stereo Witches Brew compilation. LSC-2225 on luscious thick vinyl.
Cover: minor if any shelf wear...corners are sharp and intact, with a very minor scrunch on the spine. No sign of abuse, it probably came that way.
Vinyl: minor ticks and pops with minimal surface noise. I just played through this in its entirety and it sounds awesome! What I thought was low level surface noise in places turns out to be tape noise, as between tracks that noise fell to near silence, then came back up again just before the next track.
I purchased this new when it first came out and have cared for it as a maniacal audiophile would. It has spent it's life in an oversized plastic sleeve so the cover is in fine shape, the lp retains the original rice paper sleeve. It has only been touched by either Grado or Sumiko audiophile grade cartridges held by a Rega RB300 arm and spun by a VPI HW-19 Mark III. It is a vinyl lp, and it has been used...it will not be absolutely silent like a CD, it will pop and tick (all records will, even brand new). This particular example has been played but a few times (I collected voraciously and had little time to listen to everything I bought). For the past 15 years it has been on the shelf, unplayed.
