Description

RCA #ST-701. 1960's LP of cool radio production aids. This record focuses on "action attention-getters." Such as the town crier "Hear ye!" and rainstorm "What a downpour!" and Champagne toast "To a Happy Anniversary!" etc. Super short in length, nothing over :16. Great for mix tapes! Locked groove. No catalog included. Vinyl is in VG+ condition. Cover is a plain paper sleeve.

RCA Thesaurus, a brand owned by RCA Victor, was a supplier of electrical transcriptions. Electrical transcriptions (ET) are special phonograph recordings made exclusively for radio broadcasting. They provided material - from station-identification jingles and commercials to full-length programs - for use by local stations, which were affiliates of one of the radio networks. Physically ET's look much like long-playing records.
