Description
Here we have a South African copy of REM - Murmur. This is extremely rare - I cannot find another copy for sale. This South African pressing was released on the CBS Sunburst label, but the sleeve bears the IRS logo.
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean and very shiny - see photos.
Mastered by Greg Calbi, the sound quality is outstanding. The stereo imagery is first class - this slams out with huge power yet is very detailed with all instrumentation clean and clear in the soundstage. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no issues whatsoever - no jumping or sticking, just wonderful sound.
The outer sleeve is clean, smooth and robust but with wear to the top seam near the RH corner.There is a dint at the top near the title, otherwise no writing, stains, tears or tape.
