I was lucky enough to get 2 of these records, which were limited to 300 and sold out over the course of 2 final shows the Repos played recently, because I took the pictures in the booklet that comes with this record. (Lookit me, Ma!) The band was cool with me selling this, and I need the money, so here goes.
In case you don't know The Repos were from Chicago and played very fast, short and pissed off hardcore punk songs. In a day and age where 'no frills' is almost a marketing ploy these dudes were the real deal. With the combined fashion sense of a train car full of tweaked out hobos and a genuine disregard for well... anything, The Repos were complete chaos and bile. I will miss them.
The record, sleeve and booklet are in good condition. Record has not been played. Vinyl is a clear, white swirl that almost resembles an uncooked, cracked egg. See the pictures to get a sense. Mark McCoy put this thing together so you know it looks cool.
Musically this final (of 3) Repos lp sounds a lot like a shorter, faster, harder and meaner version of Youth Of Today's 'We're Not In This Alone.' It's almost uncanny.
