Rev. J.C. Burnett    Black Sermon  acc. by  Sisters Lucille Smith and Fannie Cox

The sermons  are    "I'VE EVEN HEARD OF THEE"  /  "THE DOWNFALL OF NEBUCHADNEZZAR

The Kansas City Music Store of owner Winston Holmes produced Meritt records during the late 20s

This recording was made in 1926 in Kansas City. and it is doubtfull if more than a dozen or so different records on the Meritt label were ever issued, this according to  Brian Rust  American Record Label Book

Any record on the Meritt label should be considered very rare.

The record still has some shine, with light scratches, no rim chips or cracks.

Both sides play through without any problems. There is a constant surface noise on both sides

The labels are decent, but with damage around the spindle holes.  See my pictures.
