Description

Up for auction is a RICHARD HELL (with the VOIDOIDS) 7" 45rpm E.P. on the ORK (New York City) record label. Signed "RICHARD HELL" on the picture sleeve, this is the original, rare pressing from 1976. STEREO. It has three songs: side A - (I COULD LIVE WITH YOU) (IN) ANOTHER WORLD   side B - (I BELONG TO THE) BLANK GENERATION , AND YOU GOTTA LOSE
This is Hell's first venture onto vinyl, and features his greatest band, THE VOIDOIDS, with the mercurial ROBERT QUINE (r.i.p.) on lead guitar, IVAN JULIAN on second guitar, and MARC BELL/MARKY RAMONE drumming. Produced by Hell and Craig Leon, the recording quality is really good. Also, the song YOU GOTTA LOSE is a Hell classic and hard to find. You know the story with 'Blank Generation' and 'Another World', which both appear in different versions on the first SIRE L.P.
This disc is in really excellent condition, sounds great! There is wear on the outer picture sleeve, which you can see in the photos. Hell's autograph is on the band picture side and was done in black marker. I bought this when it first came out at BLEEKER BOB'S record shop off 8th Street in the West Village (NYC), fun times!
