RICHARD MARKS Innocent Bystander '76 Free Spirit Records ATLANTA SOUL EX RARE

Free Spirit Records, no catalog number (matrix 32776 etched in runoff), a 1976 single from Richard Marks, "Innocent Bystander" b/w "Innocent Bystander (Instrumental)." Have not been able to find any other releases from this Decatur, GA-based label but there may have been a few others; after all it says right on the label thay they were "The Sound of Atlanta." Fantastic mid-tempo soul record by a fine singer who may or may not be the same dude who cut a couple of singles in the late sixties for the Tuska label. In a plain sleeve, as issued, I believe. Vinyl is EX, maybe NM, a couple of scuffs and that's it, not a whisper of surface noise. Doubt this has been spun more than a couple of times. Very rare and moreso in near-perfect condition. Can't imagine there could be a better copy anywhere. An amazing find; don't pass it up. Bid with confidence. Thanks, have fun and good luck.
