Description
You are bidding on a MINT Rickenbacker 360/12 12 string guitar in rare "Blueboy" colour.
It was bought for a studio project and is now surplus to requirements. Having said that, I will be very sad to see it go.
This guitar has never been gigged and only been played by myself. I take extremely good care of my instruments as I am a professional and they are the tools of my trade.
It comes equipped with the more desireable "toaster" pickups which give it that 60s jangle that is so sought after. You plug this guitar in, and you smile, it's as simple as that!
I imported this guitar brand new from the States in 2006 which is the year it was made, even though the colour was originally from 2004. I do know that Rickenbacker is still run the old fashioned way and there is no "dark period" in their history. They are ALWAYS good! A quick look on google or the forums will reassure you of this.
I am also including a spare set of flatwound strings. These are also a key part of the "Rickenbacker" sound. From The Beatles, to the Byrds, to the Smiths and beyond, this guitar delivers all those classic tones due to the two superb pickups. It also has volume and tone pots for each pickup plus a "tone" mixer pot which blends the two pickups to your taste. The guitar also has a stereo output for the famous "Rick-o-sound". This enables you to run two separate amps for a gorgeous wide panoramic effect.
It also comes with all the case candy!
Rickenbackers have seen something of a price hike recently, not to mention the waiting times for new guitars. Grab this superb example while you can, you'll be very glad you did!
