I got this record several decades ago, in the mid-1980s, on Bleecker Street, right across from The Bitter End, in a place that said only 'RECORDS' above the door; where the counterman sat on a stool smoking spliffs one after another. In other words, this record may not be entirely legal, but America needs its Ringo bootlegs! Each side is actually a unique album side. They're not sides 1 & 2 of one another: each is doing its own thing and you can decide for yourself which cover is your front. I believe the implication of calling the Rock side 'the other side' is Wibble Records considered Scouse The Mouse the main fare. But, as you might expect, the story's a little weak and stupid. Richie & His Pals is where Ringo plays the part of himself. Ringo sings 2 songs from The Who's Tommy, "Fiddle About" & "Tommy's Holiday Camp"; and also sings 2 duets with the late great Keith Moon. It's pretty good. The two front covers are both 3D and the album comes with the 3D glasses, still unfolded in mint condition! A perfect gift for Mother's Day.
