**ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING THELONIOUS MONK HIMSELF**
*RARE RIVERSIDE WHITE REEL LABEL*
This offering is for an original white reel & microphone labels copy of Thelonious Himself on Riverside. These don't come up too often, and this one is very nice. The record is a strong VG+ to VG++. It has overall very light wear with a few sleeve marks/scuffs on both sides and about four hairlines that are fairly minor in significance. Two of these are more or less sleeve marks themselves. None of these are een close to feelable. Record plays nice with very little background noise, very quiet. I heard maybe a tick or two on side two track three, but this is a very quiet solo piano record so I really don't think they are much of anything out of the normal sound quality. The jacket is about a VG++, very small split area at the lower right corner and other than that it is very nice. Has small penned check marks next to the track listings on the back, also some price sticker residue on the back cover. This great jazz classic will make an excellent addition to someone's collection, shouldn't it be yours!!!
