London-Decca Record Company Ltd. (Odeon) 33-DLM 5093 / 1970 / Argentina  
 
Pasame El Hacha, 1º Parte (Pass The Hatchet, Part #1) b/w Pasame El Hacha, 2º Parte (Pass The Hatchet, Part #2)  
 
An incredible case, these tracks were originally released in 1966 on the obscure Seven-B label,  
in New Orleans, USA.  
However, for some reason, four years later London Records,  
a subsidiary company of the UK Decca Record Company Ltd., in Latin America,  
decided to re-issue the single in 1970.  
And it was released in Argentina only!  
Exactly how many copies were sold in the local market, 45 years ago, and how many still survive,  
is something we can only ponder.  
Featured on various compilations, such as: Voodoo Soul Deep & Dirty New Orleans Funk,  
Saturday Night Fish Fry New Orleans Funk  
and Soul, Mojo Presents Southern Soul.  
As usual in this region, the record spins at 33-rpm,  
and the titles are translated into Spanish.  
It took me almost 10 years to locate another copy.  
It is t-o-t-a-ll-y extinct!  
 
Record: A-side: VG(+) / B-side: G+(+) to VG, .......... (It has a few light scuff marks, mainly on the B-side, and plays really OK!). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO writings, stickers, dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear). .......... Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve.
