THE ROLLING STONES
SHE'S A RAINBOW / 2000 LIGHT YEARS FROM HOME
STUNNING 1967 PICTURE SLEEVE
Another one of the more scarce Stones sleeves and this one is a beauty! NO writing; staple holes; tape; stains; tears; seam splits or folds! No tiny tears along the top edge of the sleeve! (see 3rd photo) Straight, clean & smooth top edge! The wear & record impression is so mild I'll say this is very close to NEAR MINT! Lays flat with 4 great corners!
This is the only record that can boast 5 members of THE ROLLING STONES, 2 members of THE BEATLES and 1 member of LED ZEPPELIN!!! Mick & Keith asked LENNON & McCARTNEY to sing the backup "la-la-la's" in the song! (The 4 Beatles heads also appear on the cover of the picture sleeve.) They also had JOHN PAUL JONES arrange the strings in the song a full two years before he became a member of LED ZEPPELIN!!!
Comes with the original record also in NEAR MINT CONDITION! Just check out my close ups of the labels! No writing, wear or stickers. Both sides are TEST PLAYED w/ NO SKIPS & great sound! If not for a few ticks at the beginning of "2000 LYFH" side it could be mint. Fast shipping...
watch for the Stones first 4 singles from 1964 & check out all of my classic picture sleeves...
