ROLLING STONES Aus Tour 1973 5AD PROMO Art POSTER MINT
You are bidding on the following item.
This is an original Australian art print poster for the ROLLING STONES tour of Australia. Quite apart from the famous lips and jet design tour poster there are really only a handful of other posters associated with the tour that came out at the time. This one has a picture of the band from their press conference which we believe was at Montsalvat artists retreat. It is a Spectroscope company poster and has a 5AD logo in the bottom right hand corner. 5AD was a prominent Adelaide radio station that had a co-promotion for the tour as 3XY did in Melbourne. Measures 73cm x 47cm. In terms of original from the time artefacts of the 1973 Australian Tour, this certainly rates as a collectable piece. Poster is in NEAR MINT condition and it would look great mounted and framed.
