Description
For auction is the ROLLING STONES' "Their Satanic Majesties Request," on London Records NPS-2, Stereo, Bestway pressing. Jacket is gatefold, with the lenticular front-cover. 1967.
SOUND: MINT It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is flawless! You can't get better! Brilliant!
VINYL: NM The vinyl is brilliant! If somebody graded it "mint," I wouldn't argue! I will stick to NM, just to be conservative. It's flawless, you won't see better vinyl! The label/run-out matrices indicate this is the "Bestway" pressing. The run-outs display the "Bell Sound" stamp. This copy conforms identically to the Discogs description below:
Lenticular band picture on the cover. Red psychedelic inner sleeve.
Label variant:
1. Label "front side" / "back side," differs from sleeve (frontside / backside)
2. No copyright warning on bottom rim
3. London label code BW = Bestway Products Inc.
4. Album title on label "THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST" spread wider across label.
5. NPS-2 is thin
Reflective, dark navy-blue 'Stereophonic' labels indicative of the 1st mass-produced US stereo pressings.

JACKET: NM Again, just stunning condition! Edges and spine are solid, nice condition all-around, inside and out. The corners have a tiny touch of routine wear, very minimal. Covers are perfectly clean and bright, inside and out. Lenticular front image is just as freaky as it was in 1967. Inside gatefold looks brand-new. The spine is still stiff-like-new: sits open by itself at a 45-degree angle! Original inner-sleeve too, crisp and clean!

Collectors: You'll never see a better copy of this great record, and you will never need to look again! There is no reserve, and the first bid is $99.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
