Description
Up for bid is a rare LP, "Some Girls," by The Rolling Stones. This is an import from Holland, pressed on orange vinyl and features the artwork from the withdrawn jacket. This was released by EMI Records Holland (5 C062-61016) in 1978. LP is VG++, with several light scuffs. LP appears clean and retains a nice gloss. Matrix info reads:
Side 1: Stamped CUN 39108 A-4U with "STERLING" (stamped) with "TJ" etched afterward, also has etched CUN 39108 4 A 062-61016A 2
Side 2: Stamped CUN 39108 B-5U with "STERLING (stamped)," also has etched CUN 39108 5 B 062-61016B 1
Interior labels are very clean, but does have a small area on each side that feels rough (appears to be from the factory in this condition) - see pictures. (Areas are noticeable under bright light). Interior sleeve with withdrawn art has no seam splits. Jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There is light wear on all seams and corners. Appears to be two small staple holes in the front lower right corner, and one in the front top right corner. Includes original interior lyric insert. Don't miss this rare gem!
