You are looking at a WHITE vinyl LP of ‘Their Satanic Majesties Request’ by The Rolling Stones on the Decca label .
I bought this album online about 10-15 years ago. Immediately after purchase, I sheathed the album in a polythene outer sleeve. The album has been stored carefully ever since in my smoke-free home. It has been played twice by me – once to see what I thought of it and once for grading purposes. I’m not really a Stones fan, but I love the cover of this album and collect coloured vinyl, but am having a clearout.
I would grade this record as Very good to Excellent (I reserve Mint grading only for items that are still sealed in shrinkwrap) and the same grading for the sleeve. Here are the details:
VINYL: there is some surface noise on the runin and runout grooves, common to coloured vinyl pressings, but overall it plays excellent. However, on the final track on side one (“Sing this all together (see what happens)”) there are some minor clicks – lasting no more than 2-3 rotations and at one point what may be a skip (there is no actual break in the music and as this is a rambling, free form psychedelic track – plus I’m unfamiliar with the arrangement of this number, not being a fan, it may just be mistaking this- but I would err on the side of caution, so this may be just a collection filler for a serious collector.
SLEEVE – there is some rubbing to corners and the bottom seam has come unglued (see pic – the record is in a die-cut inner in this shot by the way) but is not torn and could easily be repaired.
The record will be supplied in a polythene outer sleeve and the record will be inside a high grade polylined inner. Check my feedback from other buyers who have bought vinyl from me recently for an idea of the quality of my goods and service.
