MASSIVELY RARE Original UK 1972 True 1st Pressing (A1/B1/C2/D1 Matrix) 'Exile On Main Street' by The Rolling Stones!!! With Original BOTH Original Inners & Full Set of 12 Postcards (Postcards Have Not Been Separated and are Still Attached) Vinyl Still in Impossible N.MINT CONDITION!!!!
Where do I start here!!!! You are bidding on the Earliest 1972 UK 1st pressing (A1/B1/C2/D1 Matrix) of this all time classic LP's - the Awesome 'Exile On Main Street' by The Rolling Stones!! This is an the EARLIEST UK 1st Pressing with the all important (A1/B1/C2/D1 Matrix). What's more I am pleased to inform you that it is in STUNNING MINT (yes MINT!)/Ex condition and comes complete with its full (12) un-separated postcard set!!!! It had the correct 1st Press 'box-shaped' outer sleeve & 'correct' original 'thicker' card colour picture inners, which are inlaid with the 'correct' 'British patent' die-cut white inner sleeves. Impossibly rare for a TRUE UK A1/B1/C2/D1 Matrix 1st pressing of this all time classic!!!! If you are a Rolling Stones collector of a fan of classic UK 1st Press rock albums in general, do not miss this one as it is the best we have EVER seen and you will almost certainly not see another true UK 1st press like it again...

The 2 cool 1960's THICK AND CHUNKY DISCS are in AMAZING NR MINT CONDITION and LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYED ONLY ONCE BEFORE!!! There are NO MARKS WHATSOEVER ON THESE DISCS!!!! They are MINT!!!!
Some eBay sellers like to say a special sticker is required to indicate the 1st pressing of this LP - not true!!!! Stickers were placed sporadically on this LP throughout its Entire Press Run!!! We currently have a 3rd Press with this sticker on!!!! Sellers using this tactic will probably omit to mention the matrix number of the LP they are selling or state that it has anything other than an A1/B1 matrix on the 1st disc - do not be fooled, whatever anybody says, the A1/B1/C2/D1 Matrix is the ONLY true indication of a UK 1st pressing 'Exile on Main Street' regardless of any 'special' stickers- anything else is a later pressing!!!!

There is not a blemish on either vinyl - its as simple as that - they are simply STUNNING MINT CONDITION!!!! There are not even any wispy paper lines!!!! This record really is that good!!!! The best we have ever seen!!!!The cool Yellow Centre Labels are in superb N.MINT condition with virtually NO spindle wear, NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind as are the gramophone rims. The Classic Gatefold Sleeve is also in Superb condition with NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! It folds out beautifully and still retains all of its 1st press 'Box Shape'. The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with MINIMAL RING WEAR and a good strong spine!!! It has aged much better that other 1st press 'exile' sleeves in that it has retained all of its box shape and has not suffered the extensive surface, corner and edge wear common with this sleeve. It only ha the most minimal corner wear. What's more it shows NONE of the discolouration common with these sleeves, it is STUNNING!!!! BRIGHT AND VIBRANT, with virtually NO yellowing!!!!! This sleeve grade as Excellent at the very least!!! The 12-postcard set is EX++++ with no seperation of the perforated edges, they are amazingly all still firmly attached!!!! The colours are still vibrant, it is, quites simply, the best set we have ever seen and quite fitting that they match this amazing record. The heavy card 1st press inner sleeves are near mint, beautful!!! Nice and vibrant with sharp edges & corners and NO discolouration!!!! This very special album even comes with its 1st press die-cut British 'patent' white liner inners that sit inside the colour outer inners thus giving the record added protection!!!! Don't miss this one - I cannot recommend i highly enough- It is an absolutely essential (and very rare) record for any Stones/ Classic Rock fan to to own!!! In the 60's & 70's we didn't think to preserve our records, we were too busy being liberated! As such, you will find most of these albums (the few that remain) in very poor condition nowadays. This is due to a number of factors, i.e. age and bad handling/storage methods and general vinyl deterioration, not to mention the amount of parties they've attended! So to find one in such superb condition is a real rarity. What's more, the low starting price and no reserve status gives you a realistic chance of winning and owning this highly sought-after album. Good Luck! The UK Record Collector Grading System NAME GRADE INFORMATION Mint M Vinyl has just left the vinyl pressing machine and does not have any manufacturing flaws. It has never been handled and never played. Unless you work at the record plant, there is no such thing as mint! Record sleeves just left the pressing machine that made the sleeve. It has never been handled and a record has not been placed inside it which would deform it. Unless you work at the record plant, there is no such thing as mint! Near Mint NM Vinyl is virtually perfect. At most, perhaps a light scuff appears on the record. It should play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsoever. Record sleeve should look close to perfect with only minor signs of wear. The artwork should have no marks of any kind and there should be no "ring wear" (that is, the outline of the record inside should not show through the sleeve). Excellent EX or VG++ Vinyl should play with no skips of any kind. It should sound better than it looks. Often "Excellent" or "VG++" is a conservative version of "Near Mint." Perhaps some very minor surface scuffs, but again no effect on sound quality. Record sleeve might have some minor "ring wear" but otherwise the artwork should be unaffected. There should be no "ink wear" to the artwork. That is areas where the ink has worn down to the paper underneath. Perhaps some minor creases in the corners but no splits in the seams. Very Good Plus VG+ Vinyl will show wear including surface scuffs and some light scratches. Often, minor scuffs will be caused by the inner sleeve rubbing against the vinyl. If held up to a bright light, you will often see many tiny lines on the vinyl. Perhaps a few minor clicks or pops can be heard, but no deep scratches. Record sleeve should be clean, but slightly more aged. Perhaps some very small writing on the sleeve. The corners may be slightly bent, but not broken. There may be wear to the seams but not tears or holes popping through. Very Good VG Vinyl doesn't necessarily look good, but still plays well. Surface noise will probably be present including pops and clicks. At good volume levels, the music should overpower any pops and clicks present. Flaws should only be heard between tracks or on low volume passages. Record sleeve will look warn and used. There may be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear on the cover, but most of the cover should still be in good condition. Good VG-/G+/G Vinyl looks well played, dull, and possibly not well taken care of. However, the record should still play without skipping. It will have substantial surface noise, pops and clicks. Loss of various parts of the dynamic range will occur due to worn grooves. This grade depends a lot on the owner and the type of record. A rock record may still sound "good" at high volume whereas a slower styles of music will sound terrible. Record sleeve may have many problems including seam splits, writing, taped repairs. However some of the artwork will still be visible. There can't be large tears and gouges in the cover. Fair/Poor F/P Doesn't meet the lowest standards for "good". At this point, the vinyl is difficult to listen to. The only reason to keep it would be due to extreme rarity or to fill a good sleeve until a better copy of the vinyl comes along. Doesn't meet the lowest standards for "good".
