Description

Up for auction is a rare, original copy of the Roxy Music album "For Your Pleasure" originally released in the U.S. on Reprise Records (BS 2696) in 1973.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-1A/1A first pressing stamps in deadwax
-Rare white label promo labels
-Original gatefold paste-down cover
-Original 1972 date Warner Brothers/Reprise inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Note:
There were two different "promo" copies of this album issued.  This is the original one, released on Reprise.  The second version was released on ATCO upon the release of the album "Siren".  Only the Reprise promos were issued with white labels--and were true first pressings.

Condition:
Cover is still nice, with light signs of wear.  Light general rubbing on front and back, but not serious.  Rubbing to seams and edges, one top seams has a small separation top middle.  Rubbing to corners.  Black sticker upper left corner (see photo).  Interior looks clean.  Attractive original copy with light wear.
Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)

Vinyl is very nice, still has its original shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some very faint, superficial "shadow" lines from taking vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a couple times--and a few very tiny faint marks on the run-in edge.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Looks like it's been played only a couple times at most, but handled very carefully.
